Yesterday was Mother's Day and Murasakino Church's Anniversary. We presented the scroll from Langley UMC and they now have it posted at the back of the sanctuary. David gave a small speech of greeting. The women have invited me to attend their Womens Meeting next Sunday. Luckily Shin San will be there to translate. However - this time I can understand much more than before - even though I cannot string enough words together to say very much.
This Sunday was special so there was a more elaborate lunch after church along with speeches and games. About 80 people including 15 plus children. Two of the kids remembered us and shyly came to say HALLO - I think the only English word they know.
