It is truly impossible to get a photo of the Kyoto train station. Only bits and pieces can be shown at one time because it is so huge and overwhelming. Below are two photos I took today. The enormous stairway is in the center of the department store at one end of the station. The store is "Isetan" similar to a Nordstroms only several times a Nordstroms size. The top photo is a view of Kyoto from the 11th floor of Isetan.
